Ccm Jetspeed Ft8 Pro Junior Hockey Stick (2025) Blue

Boasting a new shaft designed with a blend of aluminum and carbon fiber layers, the Jetspeed FT8 Pro pushes durability levels even further than before, while still managing to reduce the weight of the stick. It also brings a completely reengineered blade that has been developed with the same theories as the stick's profile, allowing it to create a different local stiffness. The Soft-Stiff EVO blade uses a very soft heel for enhanced stickhandling and passing that evolves into a stiffer toe for excellent shooting performance, enabling players to excel in all aspects of the game.

Stick Profile

The Jetspeed line uses a hybrid kick point, which combines the benefits of both a low and high kick point. It is designed to provide a quick release for wrist and snap shots, while also delivering more power for slap shots. The hybrid kick point is achieved by using a combination of carbon fibres with different flex properties in the lower and upper parts of the shaft. The lower part of the shaft uses stiffer carbon fibres, creating a low kick point for quick releases. The upper part of the shaft uses more flexible carbon fibres, creating a higher kick point for increased power and accuracy on slap shots.

Shaft Construction

The FT8 Pro stick features a rounded “R” geometry. The streamlined shape has rounded corners and concave sides that is increasing in popularity as CCM keeps releasing their stick line. This design of the stick geometry is designed to provide a more comfortable feel and natural grip with a better feel for the player.

Additionally, CCM included a Skeleton+ taper technology. This manufactured technology can be found in the taper area which is designed to provide better reliability in key moments of the game.

Blade Construction

When creating the blade on the FT8 Pro hockey stick, CCM implemented a new soft-stiff evo blade with helicoid technology. This is a new generation of CCM blade that plays like a mix of the FT6 Pro stiff toe and the FT7 Pro shorter heel to provide players with optimal puck feel and excellent shooting performance. There is also Sigma ST2X carbon weave spread tow in the shaft and blade.

Graphics

The CCM FT8 Pro stick features a holographic finish which makes the colors on the stick stand-out in an all-new way. The CCM logo is in Chrome which makes it stand out, while the colors in the upper shaft stand out with the holographic design.

Grip

The grip on the FT8 Pro has a raised FT Microfeel grip located in the mid section of the shaft to ensure perfect control when playing.

Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length

The CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro Junior Hockey Stick is available in the following blade patterns: P90TM, P28 +1/4 , and P29 + 1/4 . A new feature CCM continues to use is the +¼ option which is designed to add puck control for players.

P29 is the best pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little buit on the backhand.

P28 is a much more aggresive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.

P90TM takes elements from both the P29 and P28, but it is just a bit taller.
