The T being offset also allows for a more reliable close as less material is in the way of the pocket closing flush against itself.

The VE8 junior also has many key components that help the glove stay on the goalies hand. By including a full grip interior palm surface, as well as a padded full pull wrist strap to ensure that no matter how much growing room there is, the glove can be fit to stay on the goalies hand.
